It’s been about 1.5 years since I quit hardcore raiding in World of Warcraft.
And I fundamentally disagree. If you are look at gameplay patterns in Warcraft, they are really molded on real life achievements. The only difference is that you don’t level as often. Also: no paladins, which is a plus.

Zynga raised a serious round of funding this week led by KPCB (my analysis last week was wrong - they know what rocks in web 2.0). Once again we’ve upped the stakes in casual social gaming. And Bing Gordon joins the board, how cool is that?
