It gets better. Soviet MIGs used to bomb the Helsinki bay in an effort to replicate what the Germans were doing over London and the Allies over Cologne. The Fins cleverly built a replica of the Helsinki skyline which they’d lit on whilst switching the lights out in the “real” Helsinki. Inevitably, the Sovient bombers would drop their cargo over a monkey studio city and cluessly think they were on target. Today Helsinki has the only surviving Nordic Art Deco architecture. So add the tag “Clever B*stards”^_^
